I like all postcards, they could be:

- with views of your city/country , maps, for german Postcrossers: Ortsschilder, birds(Swallow;), ladybird, ladybug, coccinelle, kids of all ages, Anne Geddes & other cute babies, black-and-white, water (waterfalls, lakes, rivers, seas, oceans...), bridges, Underwater, castles, lighthouses, UNESCO, Royal families, Inge Löök Postcards, flowers (tulipa;), 3D cards, animals, kotovasiya, Lali Cards , Sweet christmas cards (especially Santa Claus)

However, any postcard will make me happy.
If possible, please add a couple of lines on the history of the postcard or why it is for me.
