Hi! Eee I love December. I love getting out my advent calendar to count down to Christmas on December 25th and it's the one month I don't mind driving home from work in the dark as it's lovely to see everywhere lit up in fairy lights. If you celebrate Christmas or any other holiday I’d love to hear about how you celebrate, your country’s traditions etc. It will be interesting to find out how similar/different celebrations are.

I am hopelessly in love with illustration (even my shoes have cute pink monsters on them), I have toys everywhere, adore fairy tales and children’s books, and I love animated films, especially those by Studio Ghibli and Tim Burton.

I love natural phenomena and was lucky enough to visit Iceland many years ago, where in just five days I saw geysers, waterfalls, the beautiful green aurora borealis, a glacier, and walked on Heimaey's volcano. I would love to go back and do it all over again, but first I dream of visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and Yellowstone National Park. If your country has any fabulous natural sights, or you've visited somewhere amazing in the world, I'd love to hear about it.

Other than that I like all sorts really: I'm a graphic designer and enjoy visiting galleries and admiring beautiful photography. I love reading and watching programmes about space, how the earth was made etc. I love puzzles and enjoy playing games. I'm a vegan.

I love that Postcrossing is giving me the chance to learn about life in other countries from the people who actually live there. It's great being introduced to your country's festivals, folklore, artists, sights... (etc. etc.)
