About Anke...

Hi everyone!

I live in a small village in the Free State of Thuringia - a federal state of Germany, work as a teacher and love getting postcards from all around the world.

I particularly like:
- colourful map cards
- "Greetings from..." (Postallove)
- informational cards (e.g. "Did you know" series)
- Thomas Kinkade
- cards showing things that uniquely identify your country or region: sights-to-see, animals, plants, landscapes, people in traditional clothes, food, etc.

If you don't have anything from my wish list, that's ok. Just send a nice card, a card that you yourself would enjoy receiving.
But please don't send any handmade, self-printed, ad/free, folded or greeting cards (e.g. Christmas, New Year, Easter). Also, I don't like religious or black/white cards (exception: black/white cards with single colour accents such as the Hartung-Kontraste cards). So please send them to people who would appreciate them more than I would do.

Writing about yourself is always the best part of a card. It would be very nice if you wrote more than just "Happy Postcrossing" or "Greetings".
Please write something in your native language if it is other than English - but don't forget the translation :)

If it doesn't cost you any extra money, please send your postcard in an envelope to protect it from damage. And, please, write the date on your card. Thanks.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
Greetings from Germany :-)
