About Kirsten...

Hello! I love postcards and am so excited to have found this site!

My favourite postcards (the ones I'd love you to send to me) include any of the following:
1) The name of the city (or area) it is coming from (as part of the design on the front)
2) pictures of city, buildings, monuments, tourist attractions, scenery, etc.
3) a simple phrase in the country/area's native language (with the translation in English on the back - handwritten's fine)
4) have a pretty stamp on them
5) From England: Union Jack (uniquely placed, aka not just the flag on a post card, if possible)
6) From Korea: Jetoy cat cards (especially if the card is based on a book or story)
7) From Argentina: Anything related to Eva Peron/Evita (in life or death)
8) A portrait of a member of the royal family of your country
9) Anything Harry Potter (books), Doctor Who (tv show), Aries (zodiac), The Lord of The Rings/The Hobbit (books/films), Dame Judi Dench (actress), Meryl Streep (actress), Dame Maggie Smith (actress), Cabbage Patch Kids (dolls), Tea (food/cups/pots), or "Keep Calm and..." (posters/sayings).

No envelopes, please!

I am originally from Ontario, Canada but recently (June 2013) got a new job as a Communicative Disorders Technician (speech therapy assistant) which has required me to move to Nova Scotia (a 19 hour drive from where I grew up). I love learning new languages and would love to someday travel to all the places I get postcards from. In my free time I enjoy singing mezzo-soprano in a choir, taking photographs of the landscape around me, and collecting Cabbage Patch Kids (I have approx. 300 in and out of their original boxes) among other things. Also I love to read and when I get the chance I also review books on my blog or on my YouTube channel (KieliAnne). This year (2013) my goal is to read 60 books, we'll see how it goes.

Thanks :)
