About Keren...

Hello! My name is Keren but I go by Kere. I live in the United States. I currently go to University in Connecticut but I grew up near the beach in South Carolina! My parents are from Brazil and I was born in Israel. I'm an English major. I love animals (especially my doggo Leo), anything space (I love astronomy), and anime! I also love cartoons :) Some anime’s I like include Bungo Stray Dogs, Mekakucity Actors and The Seven Deadly Sins. Some cartoons include Moomins, Winnie the Pooh, Rick and Morty, and much much more. The top five countries I would love to visit are Japan, Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland and Italy. Some hobbies of mine include roller skating, reading (one of my favorite books is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho), playing video games, baking, and crafts of all kinds. I love a good conspiracy and true crime videos are my thing. I like fashion as well and am a sucker for all things cute. <3

Styles of postcards I would be very happy to receive include anything cute, cartoon or anime characters, postcards that could be mistaken for pieces of art, anything vintage or spacey, cute animals or cultural cards (like of traditional foods, costumes or an upcoming holiday that foreigners may not know about), mystical cards, etc. I would love to hear and receive cards on local folklore! Fairytales are my jam and the creepier the better ;D Fantasy themed cards, especially creepy ones of divination, witches, creepy dolls, or haunted sights are also welcomed. (I know very opposite of me! Haha I love both the cute and creepy) Traditional Scenery cards aren’t really my cup of tea but I do find the water painted styled ones very beautiful and I do like postcards of old ruins or castles. Especially if they have some historical significance of where you are from. I’m also a mythology fan!

Ultimately I would appreciate and be happy with anything I receive!

I would love to know what kind of languages you can speak and maybe a few phrases. What’s your favorite book? What’s your idea of fun? Tell me about your hobbies and pets. What kind of music do you listen to? Tell me some creepy stories or weird things from where you live. For example, where I’m from we have a strong history of pirates! So a lot of folklore surrounds that! Also if you’re into anime and cartoons as well I’d love recommendations!

Happy Postcrossing!

P.S. Please remember to write the date on the postcard! I like to know how long it took to get to me. Thank you <3
