My favorite saying "when the student is ready, the teacher will appear"...

Hello, I currently reside in Jacksonville, Florida USA. I am very interested in learning about other cultures, people, just about everything. I like hearing about what other cultures do for entertainment, what foods they make and enjoy, what the land looks like and smells like too, yes do you best to describe the scent of the land. I am a huge fan of Google Earth-it takes me all over the world. I like seeing remote places, I like seeing what the native people wear, how they live. I am an artist, painting acrylics are my medium, mostly abstracts and I do have a day job (that helps pay the bills). I am a freelance make-up artist, so I do love hearing about cosmetics from around the world. I am a fragrance aficionado, so learning about fragrances from around the world especially those that I have not heard of yet I find exciting! If there is a reputable teacher out there who is looking for his student, I am a mouse click away! I also like swimming, bike riding, reading, and I like painting wineglasses-and am fortunate enough to occasionally sell my work. I am glad I found this website, and I knew I could not be the only one out there who would like to send and receive postcards from all over the world via snail mail. I look forward to hearing from everybody, and I will send out as many cards as the site lets me! I like to see scenic postcards from the place you are sending from, in other words pictures of where you live would be the best.With that said I welcome each and every card you send me, no matter the content! I enjoy Post Cards that make you laugh are my favorite, because they ususally make me laugh also. But whatever card you want to send will be graciously recieved and cherished with all the others. Tell me something NOBODY, NOT EVEN YOUR CLOSEST friend knows about you. I think I am going to start sending my postcards with sand in them from our local beaches.
