About Karen...
Hey
I'm Karen a mother and grandmother. I'm an Australian, but I live in Uganda. I run a small childrens and babies home as well as look out for many street kids. I really would love to teach the kids about this great big world that we live in and what better way than with a postcard from a real person.
The people here speak Alur, one of the many languages which I'm learning. I also have some Deaf children here so we are learning Ugandan Sign Language. We live in a small town in the West Nile Region on the border of DRC Congo. Our town is filled with people from all around many who have escaped war in either DRC or Southern Sudan.
