Hello to everyone! I'm happy you are here reading this. Let me introduce myself, my name is Kateryna (Katie or how you wish, there are a lot of variations of this name ) and I'm from Kyiv (Ukraine). When I only started Postcrossing I was studying in Brighton and Hove (England), now I am living in Australia.

I really like travelling and my dream is to travel a lot. Unfortunately, I haven't visited a lot of countries yet, but I hope it is still ahead. I like nature, animals, walking near the sea (now I'm living near the sea and I'm happy about that), walking in the wood and to go hiking in the mountains. I really like sports like alpine skiing, volleyball, cycling, rolling and so on. In music, I prefer rock music and classical music but sometimes listen to other types of music. And I really enjoy reading and watching unusual films. I am fond of mathematics and in the future, I'd love to make it part of my life. And now I'm learning physics and computer science, and I really enjoy these. My life is exposed to significant changes in recent time, so I still don't know my future profession.

I'd like to know as many as possible about as many as possible countries (sorry for the pun). I would like to read some information about you, smth interesting about your country, some stories, books you recently finished, about your favourite food, dreams, wishes, hobbies, hopes or else. And it will be good if you'll give me advice about books, movies, music...I am really interested in people around the world!

I know Ukrainian and Russian, so I can understand some other Slavic languages and I will happy if you will write in this If it is your native language, I'd like to translate it. I also know a little bit of German and Italian and I try to practice this knowledge, so you are welcome to write in these languages too. Also if you speak another language, it will be nice if you'll write a few words in your native language with translation in English. Thank you!
