Hello, my name is Kathy, I live in Ontario Canada. My home is in a small community on the shores of Lake Ontario. The area I live in is known as “the rolling hills of Northumberland” I feel we have some of the most beautiful country side in Ontario. I am a spontaneous person so will just hop in the car and go on road trips for the day with my husband, sisters or friend; we never know where we will end up so each trip is a new experience.
When I was younger I had many pen pals that I corresponded with, this Christmas my daughter found out about crossposting through a friend and decided to gift me some postcards, stamps and the contact information for this group thinking I would enjoy sharing postcards. She was right; I sent my first postcard and waited patiently for it to arrive to its destination. What fun, now I have to wait patiently for my first postcard to arrive at my home!
I like many things, walking, reading, drawing and painting, music and spending time with my husband and daughter enjoying life. I volunteer two nights a week working with a local army cadet youth group, teens between 12-18 enjoying camping, weekend adventures and teaching them positive values to grow and carry with them for the rest of their life.
I live by the motto “what goes around comes around” so I try to be happy, helpful and respect those around me. I have no preference for the type of postcard you send; I think it is nice to let a person pick something that matches their personality or their community.
