Hi🥳 it is so exhilarating to be a part of this wonderful Postcrossing community.

My name is Katherine (Mingyue) from Beijing, China. I'm 21 and am now studying in the University. Last month I just got my graduate's offer and I'm going to the US this fall in 2023.

I enjoy traveling and exploring those gorgeous hidden cultures and treasury that local people create, thus I enjoy being immersed in cultural diversity and talking with people who are from different backgrounds. 🏖🏔🏕 Besides, I love learning languages(I have learnt little Spanish, French, Aramaic and I taught myself Cantonese) and see them as the wisdom of our human beings.

I love music very much! I like many musicians and singers from classical to modern (ex. Josh Viettie(violin), Adele, Birdy, Gabrielle Aplin, Danny Chan etc.).

Additionally, I am fond of doing sports. Swimming, kayaking, snorkeling in summer, and skiing in winter seem so intriguing to me⛷🏄‍♀️. I also love many aerobic exercises like playing tennis, badminton etc. and I'm now learning squash.

Cherish the memory before covid! Hope we all can be global citizens. Stay peaceful and be friendly to each other🌸🌷💐🍀.

❤ Maxi card, Expo/International Organization/NGO postcard
❤ airship; illustrator's painting card; Where's Wally；different types of box card (ex. National parks, Penguin Book Covers)
❤Ruth Bader Ginsberg, TV series《This is us》(NBC), Yanni(musician), Plushenko(figure skater), He-man and She-ra (cartoons), The Berenstain bears (cartoons)

No matter what postcard I receive I will truly express my heartfelt thanks🥰! With the advent of the information age, I firmly believe there are myriads of things that cannot be replaced, such as letters & cards across the sea, the hand-written words, the fragrance of ink, and more importantly, the emotional contact between people💕.
