About Katharina...

Hello and welcome to my profile!

My name is Katharina and I'm 37 years old.
I live with my husband in Waldaschaff, a small town in Bavaria or rather Lower Franconia (The Franconians tend to differ :D).

I'm a bit of a crazy person but life would be too boring for me otherwise. :) I'm a passionate boulderer and runner, constant PTSD-fighter and chocolate-addict. ;)
The Alps are my second home. I met my husband there, got married there and I feel free whenever my life brings me there. :)

My other hobbies are reading, music (especially folk rock and metal), writing and geocaching.

I also write a blog about our hiking and climbing tours and my husband publishes them on his youtube channel DF-OutdoorVideos ( https://youtube.de/Dangerfreak70 ). We will be happy if you take a look or leave a comment. :)

Since I have to write so much on the computer for work (I work in public service), I just miss to write something with a pen - and I really love postcards and letters.

I am looking forward to every postcard! :) You can make me extremely happy by choosing one on the of following themes or motives:
- mountains
- climbing / bouldering
- jogging / running
- hiking
- Scotland
- Scandinavia
- skeletons / skulls
- gothic
- sea lions, whales
- colour violet
- music instruments
- police
- numbers ( I love math)
- books
- Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts
- Tim Burton movies
- black humor

...but it's not a problem if you don't have any of these mentioned above. I'm happy about every card which finds its way in my postbox. :)

I'm interested in all kinds of languages and maybe you can write some phrases in your native language with a little translation. Thanks in advance for the effort. :-)
To people who write in Russian: Please write in blockletters. My Russian ain't still good enough that I can read cursive handwriting without problems. Thank you.

If you don't know what to write, just tell me about your day, your hobbies, your favourite music or books. I read a lot and I'm always curious about recommendations.

Happy Postcrossing!

P.S.: The picture shows me on my highest summit so far - the Zuckerhütl in Tyrol with 3.507 m. We went up there by fair means and it was a real adventure with the glacier and everything. :)
