My name is Kate. Currently I am working in a bank in our capital Minsk. This year I graduated from university of banking. I worked in the theater of fashion for 10 years, so I really like art and things made by hand. I also like drawing on fabric, reading books (espesially Paulo Coelho and Cecelia Ahern),writing poems and letters, cooking, playing with my puppy and traveling, of course. I like to make gifts and give them without an occasion!
I am from Belarus, a small country in the heart of Europe. This is a wonderful land of forests, rivers and lakes.
"Belarus blue-eyed" - so called our country thanks to many beautiful lakes. There are more than 10,000. Lake is a favorite holiday destination, not only Belarusians, and our guests. Belarus is a country with a rich history. Medieval castles are in many cities, they keep the memory of the many historical events and prominent figures. Experts have restored them to pristine condition, now a museum located there. Annually, jousting tournaments, concerts, festivals are organized at the castles.
  Belarus is also called "Land under White Wings." Storks are symbols of Belarus. We have a large number of storks in Belarus. They live in villages and towns, forests, near lakes and rivers, on rooftops, in trees and even lampposts. We have a very careful attitude to them.
This is my Belarus with a uniquely beautiful nature, rich history and interesting traditions. I'll be glad to know something about your country and about yourself. I like surprises, so I'll be waiting impatiently postcard in my mailbox, you choose for me) I especially like postcards with the city views,old castles, animals,landscapes, modern art (fashion), vintage postcards, desigh ideas and fotos, original handmade cards and so on)I also like to receive postcards with colorful stamps!
P.S. I have a wedding this summer! The theme of the wedding - rainbow! I really would be delighted card with rainbow, colored pencils and bright pictures! I will use them in the decoration of the wedding! Thank you so much!=)))
