About Katerina...

Hello!
My name is Katerina, I`m from Gomel, Belarus. I`m studying at Minsk linguistic university, doing my 5th course already.
I'm going to work as a teacher of English at school for 2 years for sure. And then I would like to study publication design, and if I'am really into it, become a layout designer of books (in russian верстальщик).
So, if you happen to work in this sphere, please share your experience, impressions, give me some advice, I'd really appreciate it!

As for my interests, I enjoy visiting museums, reading about art.
I prefer Post-Impressionism, among my favourite artists are Toulouse-Lautrec, Vincent van Gogh and Édouard Manet. I adore architecture, even try to see into architectural styles, still doing it)
The books I love are “The Moon and Sixpence” by Maugham, “ The death of a hero” by Aldington, “All Quiet on the Western Front” by Erich Maria Remarque. I prefer classic russian, english, american literature.
Above all, I like to travel. Saint Petesburg is the city I love most, I`ve been also to Belgium and the Netherlands. One day I will bicycle around France, or the Netherlands. Oh, it's one of my greatest dreams!

And I do love to get mail! I'm excited to get postcards from everywhere and I will be glad to receive any card that you find lovely.
Especially I will be happy to get a card with..:
- views of the town or country where you live (at night), or panorama of the city from the height;
- sea, nature;
- bicycles
- architectural details
- old posters.

Please, write me about yourself, or the place you live in, any interesting story, even boring, anything that comes to your mind! The books or music that inspire you! Do not just write hello!

If possible, please do not use an envelope.
Happy postcrossing:)
