Hi! Isn't it more fun to receive a postcard rather than a bill or some junk mail in your mailbox?
That's what makes Postcrossing so enjoyable!!
***If your country has a "Postcrossing" stamp and/or postcard, send it - I'd love that!***
Please write something on the postcard you send, more than just the id number and/or "Happy Postcrossing."
Tell me about your favorite childhood memory.
Some of my favorite activities are:
Sewing, especially Quilting
Crafting of all kinds
Baking (Sweets and Pastries are my favorites!)
Gardening - and enjoying our back yard bounty!
Family time - especially with my 4 young grandchildren
Eating! What's your favorite food??
Some of my (many) interests are:
The beach, ocean, sunrises/sunsets, mountains and other nature scenery
Castles, Lighthouses and other interesting/historic buildings
Flowers, Plants, Garden-related (including garden art)
Santas, Angels, Snowmen, Penguins and Nutcrackers
Anything Disney-related (Especially Mickey Mouse)
Anything "The Wizard of Oz" related (my favorite movie!)
Turtles, Fish, Whales and other Sea Life
Mermaids and Seahorses
Food and Wine
Art related - Paintings, Monuments, Statues
Mail, Mail/Post Boxes, Stamps, etc.
History of other countries
Toys (Especially vintage)
Stained Glass, Mosaics and Pottery
Quilting, Sewing and other Crafts
*Gotochi cards welcome too!
*UNESCO postcards also appreciated!
*I'd love a hand-made postcard, if that's what you do.
As you can see, I have a lot of interests! ;-) If you don't see anything above that you have, feel free to send me a postcard of one of YOUR interests, and tell me a bit about it - or yourself - or send a postcard like you would like to receive.
If you want to send holiday postcards - Valentine, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. - I welcome them as well!!
I prefer your postcard as a postcard, not a folded card or in an envelope (I do enjoy the different stamps directly on the postcard).
If you can use different or unusual stamps on the postcard you send me, I'd really appreciate it.
Please write the date you send your postcard.
Please, no nudity or vulgarity.
I'll do my best to register your postcard the day I receive it.
I understand that there will be some postcards that never get delivered, and I'm sorry about that, but please don't ask me to register a card if I haven't received it.
Thanks so much! I look forward to receiving your postcard!
