My name is Kamil.

I live in Pardubice, a beautiful city in the Czech Republic, approximately 1 hour from Prague to East; it is located at the confluence of two rivers: "Labe" and "Chrudimka". The city is well-known for gingerbread, horse race, speedway, ice hockey or sport in general; a university resides in the town also. There is nice renaissance castle. The city was founded in the 13st century. Today, about 100 000 people live here.

I like travelling, especially by train, I like taking photos. I like studying foreign languages, reading. I like classical music. I like poetry. Etc., etc.

I worked for several years at the post office. I delivered parcels, I worked at the counter, sorted letters at an international post office and was employed in the area of international postal relations, so I've for example participated a few times at meetings of the Universal Postal Union. It's past. Currently, I have another interesting job. Nevertheless, I still believe that the post connects our ideas and work and connects all nations of the world.

I will enjoy nice postal stamps - the more the better - , interesting or special postmarks, I will appreciate any postcard, either with natural themes or historical, artistic, architectural, transportation, cultural, religious, etc., or maximum cards as well; or simply anything showing the life in your country. If possible, please do not put the postcard in the envelope.
