Hi there, my name is Julio. I'm an engineer, not too crazy, who likes to travel and read every profile that I come across on Postcrossing. I am currently living in Madrid, which is my home town as well. Although I love Madrid very much, I know that I will live abroad again at some point. I lived in Scotland and England before as well.

Some of my hobbies are cooking, Asian cultures (I am learning Japanese at the moment), hiking, learning how other people live... It is wonderful to understand how, even very close countries to mine, have completely different lifestyles (we might be the odd ones here haha).

I like every postcard you send me, especially handmade or those in which it can be seen the essence of the sender (yourself) stamped on it. Any postcard is welcome, and if it happens to be one of my favorites, it may end up in a wall postcard frame I made, although it is almost full, I may need to make an extension. You guys are too good.

I'm very glad to receive something in your own language and the translation in English (or without translation, more mysterious).
