at first, I want to say that I'm very glad to hear about you! I looking forward to get postcards with nice stamps from all around the world! Let me know what is famous in your city / area - Looking forward to read about it and I will google then for more information to discover new aspects about different places on earth.

My hobbies are reading / listening to audio books (fantasy, crime, romance ...) and photography. I like to hike or bike along the Sieg and Rhine rivers. I have a green thumb and try to grow plants from all kinds of seeds and cuttings. All birds of prey and owls fascinate me.

With pleasure I support an animal welfare organization - especially for hunting dogs. There is no animal shelter. The association consists of several foster homes. During the week and on weekends I am often out in nature with the dogs. Many dogs come from Turkey to us in Germany. They live there in a huge shelter and are hardly shaped to our environment - know nothing. The little puppy on the photo was abandoned - we had found him a few minutes before.

Who is interested - a few infos about my home town
Hennef is located in the west of Germany, about 13 km from Bonn and 30 km southeast of Cologne (as the crow flies).
City - country - river: these three terms characterize Hennef. Nestled in the hilly wooded landscape of the Sieg Valley, the city is surrounded by its numerous villages. The Sieg River with its tributaries Bröl and Hanfbach meanders through picturesque meadows and valleys. 1883 was a special year. Two industrial pioneers from Hennef invented the "Chronos scale" as the first calibratable automatic scale in the world.
Our city has about 49000 inhabitants, many commercial enterprises, but no industry.
