Hola. Welcome to the randomness that is this profile.
I'm just an average/not-so-ordinary/random 28-year-old trying to figure out stuff... life... yeah.

My 4 grandparents were born in Madeira, Portugal so my blood is 100% Portuguese, I guess. However, I was born and lived in VENEZUELA my whole life, so I'm a hardcore Venezuelan, I love the place so much it hurts (literally).

I moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2014 because I got admitted into a university (and also escaping my country's problems) where I studied photography for two years. In Venezuela I studied Communication and Network Engineering from 2007 to 2010, but I realized it wasn't what I wanted to do for the rest of my days. Long story short, still figuring out what to do with my life, haha.

I've been working as a room attendant at a 4-star hotel in beautiful Vancouver since Summer 2017 and sometimes guests leave postcards behind, which I appreciate, heh.

You should know that football (as in soccer) is one of the biggest loves of my life. I adore my national team, the Vinotinto, and I went to Colombia, Uruguay, Perú, Paraguay, Argentina, Bolivia and Chile for the 2014 World Cup qualification matches.

IT'S 2018 AND IT'S FIFA WORLD CUP YEAR! So, yeah, stamps and postcards relating to the event will be greatly appreciated and will generate several "squeee!" in front of my mailbox.

I like watching TV shows and movies, I could make a list of my favorites but it would take too many of the available characters for this bio. I am into independent films a lot, so hit me up with your favorite! Oh, and recently I've been going to a lot of plays, put on by a local theater company I volunteer for.
I like to play tennis (Djokovic rocks) and I also love swimming and biking. I love how reading takes me to another dimension (the Harry Potter series are my absolute favorite books EVER). Oh, and if all I had to do in this life was to travel... I'd be the happiest person in this world.
I am #plantbased and try to be as #zerowaste as possible.

I love any type of postcards! Send them over! Although you should know I adore postcards that have a story...
random/weird/vintage postcards...
photography...
illustration...
art (classic or contemporary)...
art based on TV shows or movies (actual photos are okay, too)...
landscapes (natural, illustrated, painted, drawn)...
live/happy animals...
but anything really... I mean it.
You could also check my Favorites if you want to find out what I dig. They're all over the place, though, haha, so yeah, I will appreciate whatever postcard shows up on my mailbox. :D

I LOVE WRITTEN POSTCARDS, that's what truly makes my day.
Write something random, it doesn't matter if it doesn't make any sense to write it on a postcard.
Write an ode to your favorite vegetable/fruit.
If you've been to Venezuela, tell me about it.
Draw something.
Or simply just tell me how are you feeling.
