I live in the Netherlands, I come from the provence Fryslân, where we have our own flag, own anthem and language. I like to read books and to sing in a band (www.sjem.nl). I study and work as a teacher Dutch language.

The reason why I participate on Postcrossing is because I heared about it from a friend, who recieves cards from all over the world. It made me curious getting to know something about the lifes of complete strangers.

Of course I would love to read about your hometown and your state/country. Because I'm interested in languages, I sure love to read a line in your language (with translation).

And maybe you can give my a sentence (or oneliner) about life on your card to share with me that you can apply on your own life. Or tell me: what makes you happy? What gives you strenght? I'm very curious...
