Hello, nice to meet you! :) My name is Jo Ann and I live in a small town in the north of Switzerland. I'm a university student with a passion for travelling, food, snail mail, little cafés and everything crafty and colorful.

I'm already excited for your postcard to arrive in my mailbox. For me, postcrossing is about connecting with people and getting a little insight into their daily lives. Describe what you see when you look out the window, tell me what is going on right now in your life or write anything else that comes to your mind. :)

My favorite cards include drawings or photographs showing your country or city, vintage posters cards and map cards, but I also love surprises! If you need some inspiration, you can always have a look at my favorites to see what types of postcards I particularly like.

Normally, I prefer my postcards written and stamped without an envelope. Also, please add the current date, temperature and the name of the place where you live to the card, I'd really like to know!

And in case you want to make me really happy, I love cards that are decorated on the back, be it stickers, washi tape, a drawing or cute stamps. That would be great! :) But of course I'm happy about every card I receive.

But no matter what you end up writing and what kind of postcard you want to send me, I can't wait to find it in my mailbox! :)
