About Jörg...

Hello all here on Postcrossing!

My name is Jörg, I've studied history of arts, archeology and heritage-conservation. My main interests are history, architecture and archeology just like a common interest in the culture and history of other countries. One of my professions is my work as a historian and as a free journalist in our regional newspaper "Schwabacher Tagblatt".
I live in Wendelstein, a nice old town nearby Nürnberg in Bavaria (Southern Germany) and I'm f.e. active in our fire brigade, offer guided historical tours through my town, showing the old houses and telling more about their history and more ... And in case I have some free time f.e. on weekends I like to visit other towns and interesting places, museums, castles, churches ...
Friends for writing postcards (direct swap) are always welcome to me!

I'm looking forward for your cards!
As you can see from my interests I like as favourits postcards
-with historical places, buildings or monuments (houses, churches, castles, places in your town or region ...)
-from the town and region you're at home
-cards with technical photos (railway, fire engines, ships, planes ...)
-but I'm also looking forward for any other cards ...

And of course Happy postcrossing!

And for people interested in direct swap my adress:

Jörg Ruthrof,
Schulhofstraße 1
90530 Wendelstein
