Hi, my name is Joana, I'm 20 years old and I'm from Portugal.
I'm a college student, trying to figure out what to do with my degree around here, which is Languages, Literatures and Cultures. Taking a step back on my life, I would actually have apreciated to have taken a Gap Year, travel somewhere, meet other societies, the other side of things, figure out who or what I am. But instead I just jumped into whatever seemmed fit for me at the time. I think I was afraid of what would have happened if I didn't went to college right away, so I did what was expected of/from me and I forgot to take a chance, take a risk, make mistakes before life started to become real. Now I'm sort of drifting, but you can't never loose hope, or whatever they say you can't loose and keep fighting.

I have lots of dreams and goals that I would like to accomplish some how. I'm a BIG dreamer. I still want to travel. That is something that I WILL do! I also dream about opening a little nice coffee shop or a bakery with my mom. It's my recent passion, baking, and my mom just loves to cook for everyone, and she is excelent!
I enjoy reading books, watch movies, listening to music and writing. I like the beach, the sea, buying mugs, sense of humor (I love a good laugh), tattoos (although I didn't gather the courage to do one.. Yet), animals (I have two adorable cats and one sweet dog). I LOVE ice cream, coffee, home made rice pudding, and I hate peas (used to love them, not anymore).
My interests also fall into Psychology, Anthropology, History, now with a specific enjoyment for Classical History as in Ancient Greek history and culture and everything to do with it, I'm in love with this new class that I'm taking.
