About Jolan...

Hi all! I'm getting back to postcrossing after a few years of being inactive here.

My name is Jolan and my pronouns are he/him. I am a 27 years old French writer. I used to travel a lot before the pandemic and I'm still planning to get back to it as soon as it's safe (Scotland, Spain, I'd also like to go back to Scandinavia and Canada).

I read and write constantly, I love dogs, chocolate and my nephews (three boys, a girl, all cute and smart and annoying af). I have recently moved into my very first own appartment and I'm having an excellent time. I'm hoping to be able to move within ten or fifteen years into a bigger house in the country side and to have a dog or twelve of my own. (See Will Graham in Hannibal? I aspire to be Will Graham.) (Except for the whole serial killer part.) (Just for the plaid, isolation and dog part, really.) (Anyway what was I saying.)

I put postcards everywhere on my walls. Please send me beautiful postcards. Preferably in color. I love views and artistic stuff but I'll also be happy to get anything relevant from your country/town/local area. Also, dogs, obviously. Or any animal really.

But truly anything is fine.

I speak Engligh and French fluently, obviously. My Spanish is very poor but I actually understand it quite well so if you speak Spanish you can write in it to me. Oh, and if you're from Mexico or one of the countries in which she's praised, someone please send me Santa Muerte on a postcard.

I technically can read the cyrilic alphabet -I took three years of Russian in high school. With current events unfolding, I have switched to learning Ukrainian so I can more easily communicate with any refugees coming to my city. So if you do speak Ukrainian, feel free to add a couple words or a sentence in your language to the postcard.

I can't wait to send and receive postcards again!

Love
Jo
