Hi there! :)

My name is Jitka, but I also like to be called Jituš, Jíťa or as my friends in the US called me "Ika" as they couldn't pronounce my name properly:) I graduated from "English and French for Business" as I love languages. I can speak English and French let's say fluently, and I'm trying to continue in German (I still understand a bit) Languages are my passion! I tried to learn Japanese and Hungarian, without succes though. If you are a native speaker of French, please write in French instead of English, if possible :) (actually, you don't have to be a native, if you feel you're able to communicate in French, do it :))

Another thing I like is travelling. I haven't been to many countries yet but it will change soon I hope. Summer 2017, I spent in the US in Texas and I fell in love with this state and people there. The national parks in California and other states were also amazing. In 2018, I visited Scotland with its beautiful nature, and Germany (thanks to a beautiful postcard of Saxon Switzerland!) :)

In my free time, I am interested in DYI of many different kinds. Recently, I've been creating gel nails (to myself - still a lot to learn). I also like hiking and just walking. And I bake bread :)
When I have time to read, I prefer such books as The Lord of The Rings, as there are many quotes and hidden secrets, and the way it's written - wow! Concerning films, my favourite ones are films set in history such as Gladiator, The Last of The Mohicans, The Patriot and from the recent period it's American Sniper (I cry all the time...).

What really makes me happy are my friends. There's nothing more than a true friendship and I'm blessed I have a few great friends around me. With them, I can be who I really am. Sometimes, I'm crazy, sometimes I'm sad, sometimes I want to talk a lot, then I just want to listen... But usually, it's me who can't stop talking :D

I like postcards and more info about:
- the country or the place you are from (maybe I'll visit one day? :))
- maps (there's so much to see in them :))
- language of your country, maybe some quotes or sayings in it? or the same in English :)
- "greetings from" postcards (those by Postallove are simply amazing!)
- World Travel series
- post, mail, stamps or other postcrossing themes (the postcards by papersisters are highly appreciated, but it might be anything else :))
- nouvelles images series cards
- any other series to be collected :D
- US states card (big letters)
- maybe after you've read my profile, you feel like there's something else I might like and it hasn't come on my mind yet :)

But these are just ideas and I'll be happy for every postcard full of joy :) You can also try to teach me some of your language, tell me what music you'd recommend to me, what it is like in the place you live, what your day was like, or anything else :) I'm looking forward to your postcard!
