About Jim...

Hi, my name is Jim. I live in New Jersey, about 20 minutes (by car) from the beach. I am about an hour, by train, from midtown Manhattan (New York City). I think I have the best of both worlds.

I'm a Catholic. My faith is very important to me. I believe the best way to show God that we love Him is by being kind to those who are suffering. (See Matthew 25:31-46) I am a citizen of both Ireland and the United States. I even have 2 passports.

I just got married on October 1, 2016. My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Ireland and Italy. On 12 October 2016, we were in Saint Peter's Square (Vatican City) during Pope Francis' general audience. At the end of the audience, Pope Francis went over to the section where the newlyweds are seated. My wife and I were able to meet Pope Francis and shake his hand. It was an amazing experience that I will always remember. For those that are interested, Google the phrase "sposi novelli" for more information.

I enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy reading, going for walks, using my computer and doing charity work. I love spending time with the most amazing Golden Retriever in the whole world -- my dog, Bacon Jack.

I look forward to receiving postcards from all over the world. Any card that you send to me will be fine. Truth be told, I am more interested in what you have to say. When sending me a card, please tell me about yourself. Better yet, tell me about your favorite charity. I've posted a link to a great charitable organization called Catholic Relief Services, or CRS for short. Please take a look.

Thanks & God bless.
