I enjoy words - reading and listening to books, I love getting mailbox mail. Although a postcard is a small thing, it is something that is likely to be sent because of its smallness.
I am an avid knitter, choosing to make very colourful socks, non-rectangular blankets tea cosies and toys.

I enjoy being in and working in my garden. I am not a very good gardener, I feel so upset if any plants die, but being outside among the plants and birds and worms brings me great joy. I have planted lots of trees and shrubs and now can enjoy the company of birds as they come and go.

I am now old enough to have the blessing of grandchildren. 2 granddaughters, of course they are a joy in my heart.
