Hi everyone!

My name is Jen and even though I registered a long time ago, I am still new to Postcrossing. I tried my hand at Swap-bot first and now that I have that under my belt, I decided to come back here and dive right in.

About the postcards I collect:

I would enjoy any type of postcards but would especially like ones that depict the map of your country/state and/or scenic ones of the landmarks of your city/town, state or country.

I also really like lighthouses, waterfalls, bridges and wildlife such as deer, birds, squirrels/chipmunks and wolves/foxes and would welcome any postcards with these as well.

Also, on the postcard, please feel free to write a note about yourself or about the scene/landmark depicted on the postcard.
You can send it like we are friends and tell me about the area it is from.

A few things about me:

I am married to a terrific guy and we have 4 dogs that are like our kids. They really act like they are human!

I collect postcards(obviously), keychains and things decorated with butterflies, cherries, birds and birdhouses.

I like to read (mostly mystery/suspense), play in the garden, play on the internet, take a few photographs every now and then and learn new crafts.

I also like to scour flea markets and thrift stores to find odd and wonderful treasures.

I have become involuntarily unemployed a few months ago and am trying to live life to the fullest on a very small budget. Receiving postcards is a inexpensive way for me to "see" the world. I like sending postcards just as well, showing people the
treasures of my local area and state.

I look forward to 'meeting" great people and buffing up my collection of postcards!
