Hi,everybody.
I am Maria from Russia, I am a teacher of Russian language and literature. I am so lucky to be one of those rare people that truly loves their job just like hobby!
I live in Vladivostok - beautiful Russian city by the sea. The climate here is very capricious, but I love my region very much!
I am married, 46 years old, I have two children - a son (22) and a daughter (11). We all live in the big house in the suburb with a red cat and a border-collie dog.
My variety hobbies are travelling, hiking, kayaking, reading good books and yoga. In the summer I love to swim and spend time on the beach.
I love travelling very-very much in Russia and other countries (I was in China and USA). I really enjoy seeing all the beautiful places of the world and learning about different cultures and national cuisines. I think Postcrossing is also a great opportunity for that.
In the summer of 2021 we travelled all over Russia by car from Vladivostok to St. Petersburg! It was a grand journey!!!

I would be glad of any card of your choice, and I like most of all cards with:
- views of your city
- seascapes
- coffee and tea (and still-lives)
- books and characters of books
- fountains and running water...

I'll glad to receive Christmas and New Year cards in December and January.

I was in the USA in 1990, so I will be pleased if the members of the United States can send me a views of New York, Boston and Connecticut. It would be amazing and exciting!

These are just some suggestions. Any kinds of cards will be warmly welcomed. If you can write down your local weather - it is interesting! And write something about yourself! I am interested in any details of your life!
