About Jacqueline...

Hello from northwest Missouri! I am excited to see the beautiful landscapes that God has created and learn about the customs and people where you live. My husband and I live on a farm in rural northwest MO. We are 7 miles from the nearest town of Bethany, population 3,000. It is cold in the winter, 0 - minus 20 degrees F., and hot and humid in the summer, 80 - 100 degrees F. I like to cook, garden, quilt, read, paint on canvas, take care of our home and family, and attend church together. I also enjoy collecting thimbles, and teapots. I would like to exchange souvenir thimbles from all over the world. If you do not wish to receive a thimble I could send you U.S. coins or currency, etc. If you are interested please let me know. We have 3 sons and 1 daughter ages 18 to 28. I would love to learn something about you. What is a typical meal in your home? Or can you describe your kitchen to me? Maybe you would you like to share a favorite bread or dessert recipe? What kind of flowers or vegetables do you grow? Do you keep houseplants? Perhaps what type of quilting or needlework do you enjoy or is typical in your area? Do you have a favorite book or does anyone in your family play a musical instrument? I wonder what the homes in your country look like? Or maybe what type of clothing do you enjoy the most? As you have probably guessed, I am looking forward to hearing from you. Best wishes and thank you, Jacqueline

Hello Everyone! Now that I have sent and received my 500th postcard, I thought I might up-date my profile a bit. Any and all postcards make me very happy, but I am extra excited when I receive a maximum card (where the matching stamp is placed on the front along with the coordinating postmark), or a shaped card. Neither of which I have access to in my neck-of-the-woods. I have also recently discovered the fun Inge Look postcards. I've never been to a UNESCO - World Heritage Place, or seen the Aurora Borealis before, so would love to find those cards in my mailbox. Maybe let me know where you were when you have seen it. Beautiful Santa postcards representing your country's Santa are much loved. I hope you are all enjoying the cards and messages I send. I do my best to fulfill your requests. You all help to broaden my world. Thank you. Cheerfully in Christ, Jacqueline
