About Jacinta...

Hello!

My name is Jacinta Borrow and I am a 21 year old Medical student from Australia. I live in Raymond Terrace which is about 30 minutes north of Newcastle. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. Australia is a beautiful place and I'm looking forward to sharing a little bit of it with the world!

I'm a huge art lover and am interested in cultures and languages different to my own. I love all things creepy, weird, or a little unusual. I'm a board game enthusiast and love my friends and family dearly. I'm a fan of Edward Gorey, Tim Burton's early work, M.C.Escher, the music of Amanda Palmer (and the Dresden Dolls) and Regina Spektor, and anything written by Margaret Atwood, Sylvia Plath, Atul Gawande, and Oliver Sacks. Among many others.

I love almost all postcards, including handmade ones, and truly appreciate the effort put into each and every one. However, please no free/ad cards. I would like an image of your town or country, somewhere you have visited, art, cartoons, typography, something medicine related, something board-game related, and anything quirky or unique! Don't let this limit you however, send me something you would like to receive (and let me know why!) and I will adore it.

I would love to hear all about you and your country! What is special about you or where you are from? If you speak a language other than English I would love some lines or your favourite word in your native language. What is your favourite book/movie/artwork/place to visit? Do you have an unusual political or philosophical idea or opinion? These are just suggestions, feel free to write anything and everything and I will be thrilled.

I particularly love drawings, stickers, and little attachments such as coins, used tickets, small flags, bookmarks etc.

Thank you and happy Postcrossing!
