KIYAN FROM HONG KONG; Thanks for your card, but the ID is wrong. Please mail me!
Although I am not that old - in my forties according to the calendar, but mentally still 25 - I miss the time when postcards were an important means of communication. Often a postcard was the first impression of a country where - most of the time - you had never been yourself. Nowadays I can simply refer you to a website like http://www.dordrechtbijzonderdichtbij.nl, to get a nice first impression from my hometown Dordrecht.
Nowadays I am travelling quite a lot - both for work and private - but I still love postcards, so I keep on sending them to friends and family. And now there's postcrossing as well!
I am happy with any card, especially if you pay special attention to the stamps. If it helps you in making a choice postcards containing any of the following subjects are especially appreciated:
- Renault cars;
- Art (Impressionism, Expressionism, Art Nouveau) and
