Hello!
I'm Jaana, married and a mom of 3 grown up kids. I'm from Varkaus, small town in east of Finland. I love nature and gardening and I also restore old furnitures as a hobby. I love all kind of crafts and reading. In wintertime I like knitting. I knit mittens and socks to my family and friends.

I've always read a lot. Most I read detective fictions and fantasy and sometimes biographies. Books are my passion! Cards of books, bookcovers, bookshelds, reading people ect.are a good idea to send.

Winter in Finland is wonderful. I like to cross country ski and walk in frosty air. In summer I mostly work in my garden and pick berries and mushrooms from near forests.

I'm happy of all kind of cards, especially garden/botanical, local nature and wild animals, mushrooms and illustrated cards.I don't like very much multiview tourist cards or city views, so maybe you send them to someone who like them more.

🔹I like some art too, like Claude Monet, Thomas Kinkade, Kaj Stenvall, Banksy ect.
🔹Cicely Mary Barkers Flower Fairy-cards are very beautiful, if you have one you can send me, I'll be thankful!
🔹"Old school" Winnie the Pooh and Beatrix Potter's pictures are great!!
🔹I'm also big fan of cats, all cats, wild or pets. My favorite wildcat is Lynx.You can make me happy with cat card by Irina Zeniuk. That blue cat is so adorable 😻
🔹Greetings from...-cards are always great.
🔹Christmas cards are very welcome in November-December, Halloween and Easter cards too on their time.
🔹We have also an old Beetle in our family(1966). So Beetle cards makes me smile 😊
🔹Swedish artist Lennart Helje makes beautiful Elf and nature -cards, mostly Christmas cards. These cards are welcome all year round!!
🔹Maximum cards are great, if they aren't too expensive to send.
🔹Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts themed cards are something I would like to collect ❤
🔹I’ve found out by other postcrossers this pinup-girl "Hilda" by Duane Bryers.I really like these funny cards 😂😂

If you need more idea what to send, look at my favorites. There are cards I've received and many cards I don't have but I like.
You can write to me anything you want. Maybe something about you and your life or something about the card you are sending. I'm interested everything you want to share with me.Blank card is so sad. I hope you take a moment and write few words for me.

I prefer cards with stamp on it, not in a envelopes if it' s possible. I'm not a stamp collector, but I like stamps.
