About Jacqueline...

I live in England with my husband, teenage son and our little dog. I work part time and in my spare time I mainly like to read. My hobbies include baking & scrapbooking/papercrafts.

I enjoy exchanging cards with people from all parts of the world and I'm active on the postcrossing forum, taking part in various round robins and tags. I recommend taking a look at the forum if you haven't already done so.
What are my likes and dislikes? I much prefer non view cards rather than view cards. I'm not keen on tourist type view cards but prefer cards with nice photography, without writing across the picture and a single rather than multi-view. I also don't like cute/weird cartoon cards....it's best if you save them for people who do appreciate them :)

Many cards sent to me have arrived damaged, so if you can, I would be grateful if you could send non-view cards in an envelope. I prefer view cards to be sent from their country of origin without an envelope. However you send your card, please still write on it. It's nice to find out something about the card or you or both :D I'm also very fond of nice stamps.

Things that I'm especially interested in:

Cards by the publishers:
Art Unlimited.

Maxi cards.
USPS cards.
Post themed cards.
Books and reading.
Library interiors.
Book illustrations (not covers).
Writing and writing instruments.(pens, old typewriters etc)
Coffee and Tea.
Cakes, biscuits, chocolate and all things sweet!
Cafes and coffee houses.
Coca Cola.
Reproductions of vintage posters or advertisements.
Architecture....particularly close up details.
Windows,doors and gates.
Beautiful or unusual buildings.
Cottages and old houses and shops.
New York and Paris (especially black and white and non tourist type cards).
Christmas (not religious)
Moomins! I love Moomins!

Don't worry if you don't have a card that matches these themes, any card that arrives through my letterbox makes me smile :)

If you would like more ideas you can look at my favourites wall. I'm always really happy if I can send someone a card from their favourites.

You can also look at my collections of received cards by theme (still under construction) if you want to avoid duplicates - here http://picasaweb.google.com/101373185176061466125

Thank you for looking.
Happy postcrossing.
