Hi everyone!
I enjoy this project so much that even started communicating with my far-away friends via postcards :)

I currently live in Bavaria (southern Germany) in a small town next to Munich and I work as a technical assistant in the lab.

My hobbies are traveling (summer international schools, volunteering, visiting cities and countries nearby), swimming in the swimming pool because rivers can be quite cold :) cycling, reading (ABC - Isaak Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Arthur Clark, but also Robert Scheckley and Kurt Vonnegut).

I'm a cinema-fan! I enjoy movies in the original languages - but better with subtitles) Do cinemas in your country show movies in the original language with subtitles or do they dub it in the local language?

Got answers from Finland, China, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Denmark, Lithuania, the USA, South Korea, South Africa, Japan - they do show it in the original language with subtitles (if the movie is for kids, than it is dubbed). In the Czech Republic people watch movies in original languages in the cinema and movies are dubbed when they are on TV. At least in Germany, Italy, France and Russia most movies (except for some special festivals) are dubbed. Can you tell me what was the last movie you enjoyed watching in the cinema?
