About Iryna...

Hello everyone! I have two kids, a son of 19 and a daughter of 9. We live in Kyiv, capital of Ukraine. It is very old and beautiful city. I love it very much.

My collection of more than 8000 postcards was started by my grandmother. The oldest card was printed back in 1896. I welcome any _postcard_. If possible - in an envelope (for I collect poststamps also and it is a great pleasure to place a new stamp into my album). I would appreciate something national - heroes of the fairy-tales of your country, people in native costumes, Christmas and New Year, everything of the kind. My daughter loves Hello Kitty and princess images (but she has her own account in Postcrossing already!), and son likes aircrafts and cars. If you send a card in August send a birthday card - that would please me a lot :) Feel free to send Christmas cards during December and January.

Please no (absolutely NO) free/ad cards and queer cards. Better send cityview than a weird card.

Postcrossers from Great Britain: I think Peter Rabbit and Co by Beatrix Potter is great! It would be thankyou-thankyou-thankyou to receive some cards with them. :) Victorian images, Royal family, Dickens and Austen related cards are welcome. Thank you!

Postcrossers from Belarus: would you please send me re-prints of Elisaveta Bem? I love her pictures very much :) And now, when Belarus has Happy Postcrossing stamp, I am eager to have it in my collection. Thank you!

Participants new to Postcrossing: please check the wall of received cards in my profile to see what cards from your country I have already received. It is such a pity to receive the same card again... Thank you for understanding!

Liebe Postcrossers aus Deutschland, Oesterreich und der Schweiz! Koennt sie bitte auf Deutsch in Ihren Karten schreiben? Ich studiere Deutsch und das kann helfen. Danke!

Except collecting postcards, I collect little bells, coins and poststamps. I do jewelry, crochet and cross-stitching. Also, genealogy or family-roots-search is my hobby too. And my latest hobby is Tilda-type soft toys :) Not long ago I completed the course of patchwork.

Happy Postcrossing to all,
Iryna
