About Irina...

Greetings from Siberia!

I am an English and French teacher at University (and I'm really not going to check your cards for mistakes, please!:)). I love French (including French Canadian) music and British TV series (Doctor Who / Merlin / Downton Abbey / Sherlock in particular) I also like traveling a lot. I have two cats: a tortoiseshell cat Fanny named after the main character of "Mansfield park" by Jane Austen, and a calico Belka (it means Squirrel), to become their furriend -
I'm a mother of a baby girl Olga.

I like beautiful things so I would like to receive beautiful cards. Or a card can be funny or something you really like. If you want, you can write me why you've chosen this card. I'll be grateful for your choice!

You don't have to stick to these wishes, but I especially love:
*Vincent Van Gogh (new to
*photos by Robert Doisneau (not selfprinted),
*old ladies by Inge Löök
*pictures of the sea,
*anything connected to UK and London (from UK members preferably),
*black&white (with coloured accents or not)
*tasty things,
*anything related to music,
*maps and flags,
*Claude Monet,
*retro images,
*shamrocks (I'm a fan of St.Patrick's Day),
*cartoons Frozen or Brave (would be just awesome!)
*or just photos made by yourself

I will be glad to receive something very typical for your region, especially if it could seem exotic for Siberia;)

I don't always like typical city views, except for really beautiful or artistic. I also prefer cards that are thick, not thin (if it's possible) and new, not old. Thank you! Please, no obscene or cruel cards.

I put into my favourites some of my received cards that I like most or just cards of others that are interesting to me. So these are just examples of what I admire, not my exact demands! I strongly believe that a received card should be a lovely surprise :)

I haven't been an active postcrosser for some time, but I register all postcards as soon as I get them, don't worry!

here's my another account (currenly unactive):
That's my husband's account:
Most of my received cards, including tags, RRs and swaps are here:

и обращайтесь ко мне на ты, пожалуйста))
