I am 80 years old and I have some serious health issues but I try to stay active and I try to stay positive.

I sold Lia Sophia jewelry (formerly Lady Remington) for 38 years but I am now retired.

I am a published novelist and have written for two newspapers. I'm working on several writing projects right now: a book of Poetry and my Memoirs for my grandchildren.

I have travelled quite a bit, having visited 25 different countries and 45 different states of the U.S. including Alaska and Hawaii.

I have been with Postcrossing about four years and have received over 1330 post cards but I am looking forward to sending and receiving many more post cards. It makes me sad when the post cards that I've sent aren't registered. I make sure that I register all post cards that I receive even if I have to contact Postcrossing to locate the owners of cards who forget to put their ID# on the card or write it where the post Mark covers it up or if the sender doesn't write it neatly so that it can be read.

I recorded this song when I was 75 years old. It's not perfect. I recorded it at a karaoke bar. But it's not bad. You decide.

Let me know if you collect stamps. I like to put lots of different stamps on the envelope if you collect them and sometimes I put cancelled stamps in the envelope if you are interested in those. Let me know.

I like to receive cards that depict cities in your country, and any vacation post card scenes. However, all post cards are welcome. My favorite post cards however, are cats, Hot Air Balloons and peacocks.

I have received messages from some persons that my postcard to them was received but it was damaged. I would really prefer SENDING post cards to you in an envelope. Let me know what you prefer. Some that I have received have been damaged.

I live n Virginia now but I was born and raised in West Virginia. I also have lived in Denver, Colorado, Okinawa, Japan, North Carolina and Caribou, Maine. My husband was in the USAF.

We have five children. One daughter and four sons including identical twin sons. We have four grand children and four great grand children. All except one grandson live close by.
