About Ireen...

Hello, I am a 78 year young Dutch woman, living in a small village in the middle of Holland.I have 5 children and four little grandsons. I used to work in psychiatric hospital as a sociotherapist and doing activities with the clients. But I am retired now.
My husband and I often go to a museum and we both like traveling. A few years ago we went to Moldova to do voluntary work in a home for the elderly. At the moment I am a volunteer at the Durchgangslager Kamp Amersfoort. During the second World War there were a lot of people held in prison in the Kamp ( camp) and sent to concentrationcamps in Germany or Poland . I find it very important to keep the memory alive and to honour those who died for our freedom.

A few hobbies are art, reading and doing the garden . And I often take my bike and go for a little ride. But in Holland everybody goes by bike so that is pretty normal.
I like to take pictures and to go to the movies. I am also interested in shamanism and mediumship. And I love boeddha`s and the old Ladies by Inge Look.

I like each kind of postcards, but I also like cards with paintings or angels on it. But
cats and flowers are welcome too.
My favorite cards are the cards I got from other postcrossers. ..Perhaps it will give you an idea of what I like.
But there are so many fantastic cards I did not get , and still will like if I get one, so don't be afraid to send It to me . I appreciate each card I get.

I do my very best to find a special card to sent to you and I find it so sorry when you forget to register a card. So please don't forget to register the card you get.
I cannot believe that so many cards are lost on their way to the receivers.

From Taiwan I got acard with MOnsterpost on it and I cannot find the Identifacationnumber.
Such a pity.
