Hi, there!
We are a group of English learning students at the Official Language School in Lugo, a city in northwestern Spain in the autonomous community of Galicia.
Lugo (Lucus Augusti) is the charming historical capital of the province, located on a hill on the banks of the river Miño. Our city preserves major remains of its Roman past, among them its renowned ancient wall, declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO.
Lugo is a quiet but engaging city, not only famous for its friendly and welcoming people, but also for its historic quarter which houses some of the best restaurants which have earned Lugo's gastronomy recognised acclaim.
Lugo is also well known for its Arde Lucus festival, which commemorates the founding of the city through a recreation of its Roman past, and each year attracts tourists from all over the world.

Why we are into postcrossing:
We love and want to practise languages.
We want to find out about other cultures.
We are into reading, travelling, history, cultural issues, taking photos and meeting all sorts of people from all over the world.
