About Corinne...

Update: I just drank a delicious Lovaré tea that a Postcrosser sent me named Rooibos Raspberry. I have tried finding this tea online, however, sadly I can't find the Rooibos Raspberry flavor but I was able to find some other Lovaré tea and I've placed an order for some. If you have the opportunity to try this tea I highly recommend it!

Hi

I am a Christian artist, living in Alaska. My artwork consists of Japanese Gyotaku, digital illustration, photography, and digitally stylized photographs. I am currently doing a postcard lottery on my website's blog (the name of my website is Ink Goes Wild Alaska). I will be drawing the names of two winners on August 17, 2023.

I feel blessed to be able to create artwork and I enjoy being able to pay it forward, albeit in a small way, by giving away some of my postcards and stickers in lotteries and in my monthly Hidden Artwork Hunts.

If you'd like to see all of my postcard designs visit my website - Ink Goes Wild Alaska - and click on the link to my international online Zazzle store.

Some of the things I enjoy are spending time studying God's Word, hiking, photography, antiques, working out, hunting, fishing, creating Gyotaku fish and octopus rubs, creating digital illustrations and designs using my digital sketch tablet, attending church, inviting girlfriends over for coffee and/or tea (I love coffee and tea!), foraging for wild blueberries, salmon berries, edible mushrooms and other plants.

I also like dogs and cats. My husband and I have an older rescue dog named Gunner. We believe Gunner was somewhere around 6 to 8 years old when we adopted him. He's an American Eskimo and is a really sweet dog.

I enjoy sending out postcards that match people's interests. If someone doesn't mind getting a postcard inside of an envelope, and they happen to have an interest that matches one of my stickers, I will include one of them along with my postcard.

Some of the things l enjoy seeing on postcards are:
Bible verses
beautiful scenery
dragonflies
bumble bees
butterflies
flowers
whales
animals
cute cartoons
pretty artwork or illustrations
steampunk designs
whimsical
fairy tales
Norman Rockwell artwork
retro
funny
your artwork
your photographs
postcards that feature the words "Happy Postcrossing" on the front

I appreciate all postcards, and therefore mark them as favorites if a photo of them has been uploaded by the sender. I like receiving postcards in envelopes because the envelopes protect the cards. The United States Postal Service can be pretty rough on postcards. However, if it costs more to send them in an envelope I understand not doing that.

I just received a postcard that was mangled in the mail stream. The corner, that contained the ID number was torn off. If you can send your postcard in an envelope, if possible, it will be more likely to arrive intact.
