my account is set to 'inactive' again as i am away from home intermittently over the next few months
here is the link to how inactive status works
for any 'late' travellers know that i will register your card when i am home (they will wait patiently in my po box)
and again i ask that if you have received a card from me, or any other postcrosser, please register them ... please
I live in a rural area in Australia where we experience all the seasons (but not winter snow, just winter cold) :)
Just send me a nice postcard - send a card you would love to receive yourself.
I do prefer landscapes/nature rather than cityviews. Ad/free cards are ok if they fit one of my collections; but please do not send me just any random ad card.
I would prefer my cards in an envelope if it does not cost you extra as the envelopes are protecting the cards on their travels (and I do enjoy lovely stamps).
~ Art – Claude Monet is my favourite artist / Sewing & Textile Arts
~ Chinese/Lunar New Year cards (and stamps), especially the Years of the Tiger and Snake – sent at any time of the year
~ Finn Family Moomintroll – Moomins
~ Gardens - especially Botanical Gardens; butterflies, spring flowers, lavender
~ Holidays - Valentines Day / Hallowe'en / Christmas / New Year
~ Pelicans / Kookaburras / Kingfishers
~ Sunset / Sunrise / Special Skies / Moon / Rainbows
~ UNESCO sites, especially natural/ landscapes/ national parks
~ USA covered bridges
~ Words/Literacy - books, reading and writing
As my number of cards sent has increased, so has the number of expired cards - mostly to people who no longer log on to this site :( I, and other people, have spent money on buying cards and (expensive) stamps so having expired cards is frustrating...
In the spirit of Postcrossing, please remember to register *all* cards you receive from postcrossers
close your account if you have lost interest in this project... be fair with this project
@4 june there are 130+ cards travelling in excess of 60 days...
One Final Note
It is always delightful to receive a card from you – please make sure you identify yourself with the card id # or your postcrossing name, so I can acknowledge receipt, especially for thankyou cards – I don’t always remember everyone I’ve sent a card to …and I have sent a few …
