Iloveteckels

Hello everyone!
My name is Caroline. I am French Canadian. I live in the province of Quebec - the French-speaking province of Canada (where I was born and raised). I prefer view cards or tourist cards as I put them on my classroom walls. I am an English as a second language high school teacher (ESL Grade 9). I used to have many pen pals in my mid-twenties (I'm now 42) and would love to write real long letters again (snail mail). I know I don't have as much time as I used to have to write letters but I would appreciate a few new friends. I can't accept everyone but I will answer every message I'll get.

I love dogs especially teckels (Dachshunds). If you find a postcard with a teckel on it, I would be very happy to receive it. Many thanks to those who already sent one. The Dachsunds on my avatar is mine. His name is Pogo. I bring him to school sometimes and my students just love it!

To be honest, I love tourist cards showing your part of the world. Write something in your own language and translate it, describe the picture on the postcard, talk to me about yourself, your town, your country, your day, the weather, ...

Please, no ad-cards, hand-made cards, or holiday-cards. Thank you!... With time, I also realised I don't really like cards with cartoon, art, animals (except Dachshunds or animals that represent your country), religion related and flowers (except tulips and gerberas). I feel a bit rude to be so picky... but, it's just to let you know what I don't like. Now that you know, feel free to send a card you would like to receive yourself.

NO ENVELOPE PLEASE. I like the cards written, dated and stamped.
