About Sonny...

Grüezi from Switzerland,

it seems that you are going to send a postcard to a dog caring person. I am the proud owner of a Hungarian street dog I got out of a shelter in Hungary. Her name is Cinderella, she is a beagle mix, see the bigger dog on my avatar.

At the beginning of 2018, I fell in love with another shelter dog, this time it was kind of a Jack Russell mix living in Spain, his name is Teddy. Today he looks like a shrinked Belgian shepherd,a Malinois. Now I got 2 dogs at my home. this means double trouble and double happiness, I cannot tell you how much I love them.

I am not picky about the cards you send to me, every card you choose is very welcome, but my favorites are cards are featuring dogs, I love every dog breed.
Artistically drawn cats, and humanized cats like Puss in Boots are also very much appreciated, as well as Unicorns.
Last but not least, I really really like Postcrossing Meeting Cards.
The cards you see in my Favorites are cards I got that I really like and that I want to share with you. Unfortunately I cannot show many Postcrossing Meeting Cards, as it seems that the persons that pick my name and adress do not go to Postcrossing Meetings.

Here in Switzerland postage fees are very expensive, the Swiss Post charges about twice as much as the German post.
Example : when I send a card from Switzerland to Germany, I have to pay 1.50 SFRS= 1.40€, when I cross the border I only pay 0.60€ Outside of Europe costs 2 SFRS or 1.80€ from Germany only 0.95€
As I live in the border region to Germany, I buy German stamps. However, if you want a typical view from Switzerland, I buy Swiss stamps for these cards. I hope you do not mind.
The money I save this way, I use to support a shelter dog. His name is Leo, he is a 8 years old Chihuahua, you can see him on the website of
I support him until he finds a forever home. I could not handle 3 dogs in my household, but thanks to Postcrossing, I have found a way to help a poor dog. At the shelter they ask for 1€ a day = 365€ a year. I send more than 80 cards per month, so I can do even better. Beside my PC stands a piggy bank dog, I feed him every night with the money saved on my daily sent card, last month he had 50€ in his tummy.

I highly appreciate your effort of looking for the right card. In advance, I say "Thank you very much for your kindness, dear friend, I do not take it for granted".
I realize that some postcrossers „forget“ to say Thank you when registering cards. This makes me sad. THANK. YOU spreads happiness to the sender of the card .

One last thing

If your profile is left empty, I have no idea what card to choose and what to write, so „Happy Postcrossing“ on an ordinary card will do.

I am the creator of my life, I don't allow anybody to do this job for me

Thanks for reading
