Hello everybody!

I am happy to join postcrossing community :) I have been collecting postcards since my childhood and also empty tea and sugar bags, used stamps... many various items and I enjoy it a lot! I used to share this account and hobby with my 83 years old granny Helena who loved postcards and stamps, even though she did not speak English. Receiving mail made her feel alive and giving her a lot of positive energy, so we both appreciated the effort of every sender... Sadly, my beloved granny passed away on 17th March 2021... She took a big part of my heart to Heaven with her :( Thanks to all dear postcrossers who have made her last years shiner and better by beautiful cards.

And here is something about me - Mirka ;)
I love travelling - so I always enjoy observing, buying, sending and of course receiving tourist (especially single view and stamped) postcards <3 during my trips, hiking, reading novels, baking and cooking, playing collective table games... :)))

I worked as a tour guide in our Ľubovňa Castle and I like this job very very much, therefore castles and palaces in my mailbox make me dancing by happiness.
And some other special things that I like?
I love lions, storks and Ferris (so called Great or Russian) Wheels...
mapcards and royal families :-)

As well, I will be very happy and grateful for postcards of Flags of the World serie (sent written and stamped from the country of origin), now I miss the ones hard to get, but maybe... ;))

We started to collect MOTW few weeks ago, till now I HAVE ONLY:
- countries: Australia, Belarus, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Lebanon, Lithuania, Montenegro, Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Sweden, Thailand
- from Germany: Berlin, Brandenburg, Lower Saxony
- from Great Britain: England
- from Netherlands: Flevoland, Friesland, Noord-Holland, Overijssel, Utrecht
- from Switzerland: Appenzell Innerrhoden
- from USA: Connecticut, Kansas, Vermont, Washington D. C.

Also another series are welcome :)

Please, if possible, do not choose for me:
- cartoons, "cute" pets (dogs, cats...), flowers, art, children, Christmas, handmade (or touchnote) or AD postcards
