My name is Jack and I live in Houston, Texas USA. I've been here in Texas for the past 14 years, prior to that I have lived all over the southern USA (Memphis, Atlanta, Tampa) but I consider Gulfport, Mississippi my hometown since that is where I grew up.

Some of my interests are reading, geography and maps, cooking, current events, and old movies from the 30s, 40s and 50s. I have a small collection of post cards, mostly vintage cards from around the USA prior to the 60s which I may send to anyone interested in receiving vintage cards.

The type of cards I would like to receive are those that are LOCAL and unique to your community. City scenes, skylines, famous landmarks in your area, countryside or landscapes in your part of the world. Pictures of small towns are great even if you don't think others would care for it. In short I collect and enjoy pictures of PLACES. Though I appreciate any card sent my way, I would prefer not to get advertisements, homemade cards, military aircraft or weaponry, comical or cute characters or celebrity related....they might be appreciated more by others but are just not themes I care to collect. As long as it's LOCAL then it is more than likely a good choice!
