About Regan...

Hi!

My name is Regan and I am 12 years old. I love to check the mail and I also love globes and geography and I ask my mom about various countries in the world and she thought this would be a great way for me to learn more about our world! I was born in China and came home to my mom when I was 11 months old. My mom and I traveled in 2009 to India to bring home my brother to join our family. He is 3 months older than me! Although I don't remember living in China, I do remember the trip to India and this started my interest in travel, other states in the US, and other countries.

My love of music started when I was two years old and for many years my favorite singer was Elvis Presley. When I was two years old, I started asking to listen to his songs and my mommy and grandmother took me to Graceland (Elvis' home in Memphis, Tennessee) in July 2011 so that I could see Elvis' house. I loved it! I now listen to songs more typical of a 12 year old and love Shawn Mendes and boy bands except for Justin Bieber. I'm not a fan of his.

I also love baking, animals, crafts, coloring, gymnastics, vegetables, cheerleading, dancing, Harry Potter (I"m a Hufflepuff!), Stranger Things, and reading. I go to the library every week to get books. I have a couple of dogs, two guinea pigs, and two cats as my pets and I love them very much. I also love horses, but we don't have one in our family. I got to take a horse-riding class with my grandmother and had a great time learning about horses.

When I grow up I want to be a cupcake maker. I beg my mom to let me cook all of the time. She hates to cook, but gets in the kitchen so that I can practice my cooking and baking;) She is very happy that I am getting more and more independent in my baking without the need for her to come in and oversee my efforts ;-). At my request, I even bake and decorate my own birthday cake. The more sprinkles the better!!

I would love to receive any postcards you would like to send (please make them suitable for a child's eyes:). I would love to hear anything about your country, yourself, or anything else you would like to share. If you know another language other than English, I would love to have a little something written in that language also!!

Happy postcrossing to you and have a wonderful day :)
