About Simone...

Hi, my name is Simone, I am 51 years old and mother of 2 girls.
Hobbies besides postcards:voluntary work for a lupus self-help organisation, reading, movies, penpalling.

First of all, I LOVE all kinds of postcards, but especially single-view postcards.

Just some ideas about my very favourite cards, however:

- UNESCO WHS (my received list see below)
- Postcrossing related,
- cards from Postcrossing meetings,
- witches,
- "Keep calm",
- maps,
- castles,
- lighthouses,
- butterflies,
- flamingoes,
- French bulldogs,
- rocks and stones,
- volcanoes,
- stone sculptures of bodies,
- unusual architecture,
- hearts,
- kisses (between adults) or
- adult lovers in general,
- anything related to mail like mailboxes, letters, stamps, writing, etc.,
- northern lights (aurora borealis),
- FOTW, Greetings from … (also unofficial), HPC, Icons, MCPS, WOW, WT series (received list: https://docs.google.com/document/d/108z1tC4WXUibLoak_UyKvRMi1E_4704YbwQiWialUp4/edit?usp=sharing)
- "Greetings from"-style: Game of Thrones, LOTR, or other topics,
- or anything from my wishlist: http://www.postcrossing.com/user/Hexentrio/gallery/favourites

but please don't feel obliged to send me one of these. I appreciate any nice postcard you have chosen for me.
I don't mind duplicates as every single postcard, even I have already received it, is unique.

Nice stamps are VERY welcome, especially those related to above wishlist. If possible, no self-adhesive stamps.

Just tell a bit about your life, the country/region/town you live in or what you know about MY country, about your today's mood, what made you happy (or sad) today, whether you have ever met some postcrossers, whether you have ever heard about lupus or whatever ;-)
IF you have the chance to upload the card you sent to me, please do so - I'm very lazy with scanning *gg*.

With Paulo and his postcrossing team, we made a fantastic promotion campaign for World Lupus Day in May 2009.
Have a look at our common LupusCrossing project:

Photos from the Postcrossing meetings I've attended so far: http://hexentrio.blogspot.de/ (including cards from meet-ups around the globe).

My UNESCO collection list (not up-to-date; maybe you can offer me a WHS I don't have yet?): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjNLCaysE1q7dGxJZzdFUDRVbF9rZFhIdDVfMEl2dGc&authkey=CJKb4_EB&authkey=CJKb4_EB#gid=0

If you are looking for other themes, please let me know.
I have a wide range of cards which are not uploaded.
Don't be shy - just ask me.

Love, Simone
