About Herzmuschel...

ATTENTION: I have received a postcard from AUSTRALIA showing Giraffes. The ID search sadly couldn't help finding the ID. If you have send this giraffe-card to me, please tell me the ID.

Moin,
my name is Mimi. I like colourful socks, folk tales, potted plants (there is no free room on my windowsill left) and of course postcards. I prefer living plants to flower bouquets. My favourite flowers are sunflowers. Looking at them makes me happy. What is the word for "sunflower" in your language? Please tell me.
My pets are 2 rescued gerbils. Their names are Shoyu and Miso. They are cute destroyers of cardboard.
I absolutely love 'Petterson and Findus' and Illustrations of gnomes and animals by Daniela Drescher (or similiar ones). They are so beautiful. I have a few of the books on my bookshelf and like to read them to relax. Yes, they are childrens books but sometimes my brain ist too tired to concentrate on 'adult' literature.

Postcards showing reptiles, fish or small furry animals (otters, mice, bees ...) are a great way to make my day. Or any other animal. Animals in general are good. Even spiders. Spiders can be small(ish) and furry. I like spiders now. Do postcards of spiders exist? (Edit: Yes, they do. Got spider cards? Send them to me)

Holiday themed postcards around the time of the holiday are very welcome. And I mean any holiday of any religion/culture. Educate me :)
I'm also very interested in good luck symbols. Whats a sign of good luck in your culture? Please tell (or show) me. Here it's a sign of luck when a ladybug lands on you. Or a bird sh*ts on you. I prefer the ladybugs.

Tourist view cards from your country/city are great, too. It's interesting to see views of the country/city you come from or something that your country is famous for.

But I think I'll be jumping around my room like a hyperactive squirrel for any nice postcard you'll send me.

Feel free to decorate the back of the card (the side you write on) with washi-tape and/or stickers. I love decorations.
If you don't know what to write you could draw something. Or talk about your pet(s). I enjoy reading stories about our furry/scaly/feathery friends. Or tell me a joke.
Blank postcards make me sad. Also I do not like selfmade cards very much, sorry.

Thank you and happy Postcrossing,
Mimi
