Hello fellow Postcrossers!

I am a woman, I am married and I live in the east part of Holland near the German border. The area is known for the nice nature and also it is used for farming.I like to live here because it is rural and quiet and the people are mostly easy going.
But I also like to visited citys like Amsterdam , Den Haag, Rotterdam, Utrecht etc. And I love to go on citytrips in other countries. There is so much to see there, nice culture and musea and nice concerts too!
I like to make long walks with nice company. My cousin and I walk each year more then 800 km. We break up a long route into day hikes of about 15 to 18 km.
Gardening is also one of my hobby's and I like to go on gardentrips, I have been to Germany, France, Belgium, Madeira and ofcourse Great Britain. Each year I try to go there and enjoy the private gardens and the gardens of the National Trust.

I work with people with special needs, I love my job.I have been working in this profession for over 40 years now and have to think about how I want to finish my career. After always working full time I notice how much work has swallowed me up. But illnesniby myself and those around me has made me realize that it is good to think about this.

I like postcrossing a lot!
I have been to quite a few different country's for holidays, but there are lots ands lots of different places in the world wich I have never heard of. Postcrossing is a very nice way to learn about these places.
The best part is to come home of work and find nice cards in my postbox!
On days out I am allways looking for nice postcards to use for postcrossing :) it became a bit of an addiction :)

I look forward to many nice postcards!
I like any kind of postcards, but specially cards that makes me smile or makes me happy!
Cards with happy people, people doing crazy things, people having fun with each other, happy children,playing children and funny postcard from animals. More the unusual and funny type of cards.
Inkognoto always succes in portraying humor beautyfully. I love their cards!
Because there is allready to much misery in the world, it is good to spread laughter.
I also like cards with angels.
I am not so fond of the traditional tourist cards.
And I don't like add cards.
Please write something about your culture, the habitats, the people or anything interesting of your place, and it would be nice to hear what comes to your mind when you think about my country.
