Hello there, my name is Helena, I was born in 1959 and live with Toulouse, my precious furry friend, in a village close to Ghent. I love foreign cultures, languages (in particular idioms, proverbs and sayings, and quotes too), books, Art Nouveau & Art Deco, silence, nature (cows, birds, trees, flowers ...) and people of course. When I have a moment to myself, I love to sit by the window to watch the birds. I'm always glad when the great woodpecker pays my garden a visit, and it's a special treat when the green one comes along.
